Decent quality for the price. The tone is pretty good. And the sound box looks really nice. The case is also a nice quality and the extras that came with it are all a good quality. Nothing cheap about it. I purchased an additional music book which I would recommend that you also do. I wouldn't recommend for little kids but definitely 8 and up if they're interested in artsy/music stuff. Easy to just pick up and pluck the notes to make music of their own. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's Tight, A'ight? *by M***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2020* I dig the tones my kalimba produces, and the craftsmanship brought to bear upon it is tight. Only wish that mbiras, which are similar to kalimbas but have deeper tones, were available domestically as well: Only source I know that produces them on demand lives in Zimbabwe. Oh well — aside from THAT lamentation, the product is infectiously beautiful, and the delivery-time superb. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy and fun to play *by R***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2020* So much fun to play. Very easy to hold and play. Wonderful sound. Very calming to play. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/160453730-17-keys-thumb-piano-with-protective-case](https://www.desertcart.in/products/160453730-17-keys-thumb-piano-with-protective-case) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
