AREA 419 CZ457 Scope Base
This is a very good scope base for the CZ457. It fit firmly in the rifle grooves, I did not have to force it on with any tools. The torque values (22 inch/lbs) is printed right on the packaging for the four screws. The product is Made in the USA. Don't make the mistake I made and purchase the Chinese junk first. The KPY rail was so loose in the rifle grooves that I didn't even try to tighten the screws. (Also they did not supply any torque values). If you over tighten the screws you could damage the aluminum threads in the rail very easily. I did a return on the Chinese rail and ordered this one.

You get what you pay for used a cheaper set up worked ok but this rail is top tier fits so well gonna buy another.

Very well made, sturdy rail.
I originally purchased a competing scope mount for my CZ457, but after a bit of use, I found that it’s use of set screws was not very stable. The set screws were too small to tighten properly, so the mount was not rigid. I replaced that mount with this one and am pleased. Initially, I did not buy this mount because ugh the additional height would not be good. I found that I had to use medium rings for the scope to clear the barrel on the other mount, but can use low rings with this one, so there really is no difference in scope height. Highly recommended.
