They are well built, sturdy, there is ample padding on all contact areas. It's been great with my fender acoustic and epiphone guitars. I've just bought a Tele with a slimline headstock and was alarmed to find if I pulled the guitar down it will slip through the neck holder. I suspect it could even do this under its own weight. There may have been some wider spacers in the original packaging, which I've now thrown away. So I will bulk out the arms with some pipe lagging or tape.
