The plate caster's wheel consists of a polyurethane tread molded to a polyolefin core. The wheel rolls with ease, provides quiet operation, resists abrasion and impact, and protects floors. It is suitable for bearing light to heavy loads on carpeted and hard-surfaced floors. The medium-soft polyurethane tread is non-marking and resistant to water, oil, and most s, and it has a hardness of 50 to 60 Shore D. The wheel has a recommended operating temperature range of -20 to 180 degrees F. The roller bearing provides high load capacity and greater durability than ball bearings.
