Shuttle XPC Accessory PC63J 500W Power Supply for Shuttle XPC H, J and R series Barebone

I took a risk ordering this power supply for my SH61R4. The description says it's for the SG41 series. I've been taking this PC to Quakecon for a few years and wanted to put in a better video card. The stock power supply is only 250w. The box says it's an XPC power supply so I took the chance. I took it out and compared it to the stock power supply. Size wise, it was a perfect match. Plus it had dual PCIe power adapters: a 6 pin and an 8 pin that can be used as a 6 pin. I removed the 250w and mounted the new 500w in the case and the machine powered up perfectly. It ran nice and cool and I didn't have any issues. I now plan on keeping this machine until it dies.

I'm using this in a custom built gaming console for my living room and so nose is unacceptable. This thing whispers and to be honest it performed way better than I expected. Its a bit pricey but I needed something small with a big punch. This thing is heavy which means it has quality components in it. So, quiet, heavy and small equals perfection.

Works great powers my video card that runs Fallout 4 in high detail. Sweet deal too. This is a optimum power supply for my set up.

I'm using an SX58H7 box as my main PC for nine years. It suddenly died of PSU failure. Its original PSU was PC63 bronze, which was already discontinued. I ordered this PC63J bronze as a feasible alternative, and the delievered one was PC63J silver. I thought it's okay since silver should be better than bronze, and as expected it's working very well with my SX58H7 for several days.

The SH67H3 requires a 2x2 ATX power connector. This power supply lacks that. But it does have a 4x2 power connector that works by plugging half of it in. There is no way you would know this, as it is not mentioned on the box, which instead points to a 1x4 connector that does not work for that purpose. Fortunately, Shuttle technical support replied to my support query.

If you love XPC Shuttle Computers, you'll love installing this performance powersupply. I love the XPC Shuttle Computers for their compact size, I even modified one with a carry case type handle on top, for travel and presentations. These Shuttles are much better than a Laptop for presentations. I can drive multiple 4K UHD monitors / projectors with mine. Thanks to this powersupply, it runs cool doing so. I highly recommend this powersupply for the XPC Shuttles.

I was updating the GPU and CPU in my Shuttle HTPC and contacted the folks at Shuttle America to ask if they thought I might have power issues. There CSR (and all the Shuttle personnel I have dealt with are great to work with) said it would probably be safest if I went with a 500w unit, up from the standard 300w PSU that came with the system. The swap out was a snap (three screws), and the new PSU is whisper quiet. My HDTV and Steam both like it just fine. One month past the warranty and this begins to fail. Last Shuttle purchase of any sort for me.

Nachdem das alte Netzteil meines Shuttle SZ68R5 nach fast 10 Jahre 24*7 gestorben war, lebt er nun wieder. Schön dass Hersteller ihre Modelle nicht jedes Jahr über Bord werfen..! Mal sehen, wer nun länger lebt ;-)

MBに差し込む電源共有用コネクタが、SH67H3のデフォのピン数が合わないので慌てる。 差込口は4pinですが無理やり8pinを片側で差し込めば問題ないです。（わからない人が買ったら間違いなく慌てる） SH67H3の場合、グラボをいいのにつけるとき同時に買う人が多いと思うが、私はZOTAC GeForce GTX 650Tiを同時に積み替え。 サイズ的に問題なく取り付けられたが、グラボ⇔PC63Jケーブルが筐体とかなり干渉して曲げて差し込むため、耐久力が怖い・・・。 ベアボーン専用電源なので高いのはやむなし。

We bought the power supply thru Amazon in Canada and distributed by a Canadian firm, I believe the name was Tech Depot. The item arrived promptly via UPS in excellent packaging. The power supply worked exactly as advertised. Unfortunately, it did not solve our computer problem that we incorrectly thought was related to the power supply. As a result, we returned the item to Tech Depot. The return process was fast, smooth and courteous. We were very happy with the level of service from both Amazon Canada and Tech Depot Canada.

Fonctionne très bien et cette alimentation a réparé un problème que j'avais d'origine avec ce PC qui devait souvent redémarrer 2 à 3 fois? Qui perdait la carte Ethernet (bloquant). Shuttle n'a jamais rien voulu entendre. Ni n’a fait aucun effort. J'ai accusé la carte graphique et en fait l'alimentation d'origine su Shuttle était défectueuse, j'ai dû attendre la panne totale pour trouver la solution en replaçant l’alimentation d’origine par cette alimentation. Petit inconvénient ce n'est pas donné pour une simple alimentation ; mais pour un PC qui n’a jamais aussi bien fonctionné, que dire ! Selon la version de votre PC le connecteur 8 points se branche bien sur une prise 4 points sur la carte mère – il y a un détrompeur.
