There's no filler or "enhanced" meat in this chili! I wouldn't call this chili spicey. I like some pretty hot chili but mild is good sometimes too. I would say this will only seem spicey to someone with a sensitive palette. For me it had just enough kick to be flavorful. I will buy this again as long as the price is reasonable. It was only slightly more than I usually pay for the other Wolf varieties or the Hormel that I sometimes buy. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a flavorful canned chili with lots of real beef. The only real drawback to this product is the high salt content. Like most canned chili this has a really high sodium content. If salt is a major concern for you there are other brands or varieties of chili that are lower in sodium than this one. Then again, if salt intake is critical for you, than you probably shouldn't be eating canned chili at all.
