This sensor was purchased as an addition to the existing water detection system I have in my home. My experience over several years is being pleased with the system which has paid for itself by the early detection of unwanted water on one occasion to date.

Works well, but,,
I have purchased before for use in sump pit in lieu of float switch for high water alarm and they work great in mostly clear water but do not do well in sewage water due to all the impurities adding too much resistance.I will keep it though for the next sump job.
