I like them because they are three quarters in length which means they fit easily into every shoe including my old ones. I am currently buying shoes half a size larger and the fit is perfect. The sides are larger which is ideal for people with pronation problems and the heel fits snugly inside. The arch is high but once you are used it they are very comfortable. I can now walk about 2/3 miles a day comfortably without any problems. I would recommend anyone to try them. These are hospital issue HARD orthotics that my son was issued with from age 2. It is necessary to wear them for at least 4 - 5 hours a day for remedial effect but after that - wear what you wish or go barefoot. You will notice a decreasing of hip, foot and lower back pain I'm sure.
