Men's Paxton Sweatshirt

Good heavy sweatshirt. Keeps me warm and dry in the winter and rain. It’s a little big, but I like wearing it outdoors working on stuff and I don’t notice it. It’s soft and comfortable enough I’d wear it around the house too. Quality is good it has held up through a lot of projects where other hoodies have been destroyed.

My husband never wears a coat or uses an umbrella when it's raining. He'll only wear hoodies so this seemed like a perfect sweatshirt. It's very thick and warm. Good for late fall, wintery rainy/snowy days. There is a light kinda sheen to it but not in a poor quality/crappy fabric kinda way. I mean, this is Carhartt so you know it's great quality and gonna last forever. It does run large. He likes his sweatshirts large but this was really large and baggy. He sized down to a large and it's a perfect fit.

Bought this Paxton hoodie for work and weekend wear, and it’s quickly become my go-to. The heavyweight fabric feels super sturdy and broken-in right away—thick enough to block the wind and keep you warm on chilly days without being bulky. The Rain Defender treatment is legit; light rain beads up and rolls right off instead of soaking in. Fits true to size with a relaxed, comfortable cut that layers easily. The triple-stitched seams and ribbed cuffs/hem scream Carhartt durability. After several washes, it still looks and feels brand new. If you want a hoodie that works as hard as you do and handles the elements, this is it. Highly recommend!

This is nice and thick. I have a long torso so I got a long size. I wish I would have ordered a standard length. It is soft. The color is nice and blue like the picture. I have always liked the pullover type hoodie with a big pocket in front. There is a tiny pocket in the pocket that is handy for my keys. This one has a smaller neck in a good way. It isn't hard to get over your head, when it is on I like the fit around the neck. A little less slop than most. I bought this for function vs fashion. But it is a legit workman quality sweater that happens to look really good.

I've worn this hoodie for about 3 days now and I'm very impressed ..when I first got it I was coming back from school and I was in a rush to get going on a skI trip I walked up to my side door picked up the package which was kinda heavy I opened it I saw the hoodie put it on thought it was to big but tried it on and it fit I got the large/tall I'm 6ft 180pounds and it fit just great I don't like my hoodies without a little room in them and mine had the room that I was looking for ..in the hoodie kangaroo pouch there was the lining like the inside of the hoodie has ita also roomy so you can put gloves and other things like your phone keys anything really on the right side of the pouch there's another smaller puch that you can put your phone or your wallet it won't fit every smart phone but mine fits tighter than expected I have a galaxy s5 with a case on it on the outside of the hoodie it feels rugged with triple stiching on some spots which is good for durability ...the hood is somewhat smaller but your head will fit fine its not meant to be worn with a hardhat if your in construction but you can wear it with beats headphones and it will be covered just fine ..but after I checked out the hoodie I left to go snowboarding and check out the waterproofing it has and it was excellent I was very warm inside couldn't feel a starch of the cold I just felt like I was sitting by a campfire it really kept me warm and the snow could not get in at all it slid right off even some snowpuddle that were melting couldn't get into it I'm overall very impressed with the hoodie and I'd purchase a second one in the future carrharts hoodie is very impressive and durable with added features that help out

This Carhartt sweatshirt is hands-down the only sweatshirt my husband 100% loves. The heavyweight material feels durable and high quality, while still being comfortable enough for everyday wear. It does a great job wicking away rain and moisture, making it perfect for working outside or cooler weather. It holds up incredibly well and has quickly become his go-to sweatshirt. Definitely worth the purchase!

This is a very warm heavyweight hoodie. I’ve worn in temperatures around 40 degrees (with a long sleeved tee underneath). The anti-wind and rain-resistant claims made come with caveats, as they should. Yes the wind doesn't penetrate this hoodie as it would most hoodies. Out for a while in a drizzle, this hoodie will keep you drier than ordinary hoodies, but in heavy rain you’ll get wet and you’d you’ll need serious raincoat. This garment is as warm as some jackets made for cold weather and just as heavy. It is longer than a most hoodies, which helps. Still, it is a hoodie, so taking it on and off is a bit of a chore given its heft. The fabric has a pleasant feel. There is lots of room even if you don’t size up, as some customers do. I’ve washed mine a few times. Has it shrunk? Maybe only a tad if at all. It holds up. It appears to be sturdy and well made, but we’ll see. Carhartts tend to be reliable. After a few months, this appears to be a good value even given the somewhat higher price.

Was a great and warm hoodie. I had to send back cause I bought it way too big. So order one size down from what your use too. So you can save yourself the trouble of maybe having to send back for Being to big.

Seems like a well built hoodie. The hood is nice and big, fits very well! Has a nice little pocket inside the big pouch to keep smaller items you don't want to risk falling out. Now just to test it in the rain and see how it does!
