Great gym shoes, hold up wonderfully!
I've had these for nearly a year now and they have held up great! I only wear them in the gym so I don't worry about them degrading too much. My feet feel stronger and much more agile now that I've been going 'barefoot' while exercising. There was about a week of super mild discomfort while my body adjusted, but it was quickly overtaken by new PRs and much better performance overall. My running mile time is down and my lifts are much stronger as my legs and core have adapted to stabilizing me instead of my shoes doing all the work. They're extremely light and thin so I can pack them in my gym bag easily. They wash pretty well too. I've put them through the laundry twice now and they don't show signs of exaggerated wear from it. My feet don't really sweat as much as they used to in my old cross-trainers so they never get too funky. Definitely like the modest price too. They're not so cheap as to be suspicious but not so expensive as to feel like a ripoff for being made of half the material of a normal shoe.

Great everyday shoe, not only for running.
I love Xero Shoes Prio. They are my go-to everyday shoe. I'm disabled by various health issues and one of them makes me dizzy constantly. I notice that when I wear my Xero Shoes I am not nearly as disabled by my dizziness. I've tried offbrand T*mu 'barefoot-style' shoes but they actually do have cushion and are squishy and that makes me dizzy. I keep coming back to Prio. I've bought now 4 pairs of the Prio since 2018. I will keep buying them as long as they make them. I'm not a runner, I don't even do much walking (yet), but they are fantastic daily shoes. I currently live in a very dusty dry rocky climate and my feet have adapted to walking on rocks/gravel. Yes an occasional sharp rock may stun me for a moment but then I go on about my day without issues. I've shared my love for Xero Shoes with some family members and three of them have bought and wear them now. For reference I have very wide feet for a woman. I most often have to choose men's shoes for the extra width. My feet are 10-10.25 inches long. I wear a Prio Men's size 8/EU 41. In Birkenstock open toed sandals (Arizona/Milano) EU 39, closed-toe (Boston/London) EU 40. Of course there is always a little size difference between brands. It's been so long since I've worn 'conventional' shoes that I have no idea what the sizes would be for New Balance, Asics, Sketchers, etc. I think I used to be a women's 10W or a Men's 8E? According to my purchase history I was a Crocs Bistro Women's size 9/Men's 7. Too squishy for me due to dizziness, but they fit well. So, if you have the same size foot you would probably wear a Prio men's size 8 (EU 41). FYI if you are specifically looking for a shoe that is cushioned and has "arch support" you shouldn't buy these because you would be disappointed. Our feet are meant to move and be adaptable, not stuck in casts all day not doing their job of moving and supporting your body. If you want to learn to use your feet better to improve your balance and nerve response time - please do consider buying these or any of the other models of Xero Shoe. I actually prefer the other big name brand that has the 'finger' toe shoes but I can't justify the cost for them only lasting 6 months before seams open in the toes. Screw that. The Prios last a heck of a long time and it takes a long time for them to develop a fabric failure. I've never had the sole fail me yet though. I've very happy with them.

Great, but soles wear faster than expected
Favorite shoe so far (just bought another pair), super comfortable, but do think the soles wear too fast. Got maybe 1000-1500 miles before they were blister factories, and their site does state like a 5k mile warranty so felt a little low on lifespan compared to brand marketing Otherwise pretty good, no forced arches or weird drop, almost like going barefoot. Gate is good when walking Fits well, maybe a touch cramped in toes. And pretty decent look for a barefoot shoe

High quality, great value
Xero shoes are very comfortable, high quality and wear variable. They come in many different colors,, are sleek and are comfortable enough to wear all day. Are rigid enough to wear in the mountains and look good with any attire. I highly recommend! This type of shoe is really all I want to wear for the last 3 years since I started wearing exero shoes

My new favorite shoes!
I am in my 70s and have, in recent years, developed foot and knee pain. Visits to podiatrists only made my pain worse. Both podiatrists sold me expensive orthotics, which increased my knee pain so much that I could hardly walk. I told both podiatrists that I have no pain when I walk around barefoot, but they just brushed that off, saying that I should never go around barefoot because it will ruin my feet. When I started going barefoot more and more, and wearing bedroom slippers and flip-flops with no arch support, my pain virtually disappeared. The pain always came back, however, when I wore traditional brand-name athletic shoes. Eventually I discovered Xero barefoot shoes and ordered a pair. Each time I wore the Xero Shoes out walking I experienced less and less pain until, after about two weeks of wearing only these shoes, my foot and kneed pain completely disappeared. I now own four pairs of these shoes and plan to buy two more pairs, including their dress shoes. The wide toe box lets my toes spread out when I walk rather than be squeezed together, which feels much better. The zero-drop soles transfer much less force to my knees. The thin soles take some getting used to, especially when walking on concrete or asphalt sidewalks. Since the insoles are removable, I simply took them out, inserted flat cushion insoles, then put the original shoe insoles back in the shoes on top of the cushion insoles. This provides some cushioning but does not give any arch support or change the zero-drop feature of the shoes. I have since read that wearing traditional brand-name athletic shoes can eventually ruin one's feet and knees because the toes are squeezed together, the higher heels throws off the body's biomechanics, and the thick cushioning causes a person to develop weak arches. Now I only wear Xero Shoes. I realize that everyone is different, but if you have developed foot and knee pain while wearing traditional brand-name athletic shoes, you may want to give Xero shoes a try. But give them a couple of weeks to work their magic. Highly recommended!

Bought after KoT recommended. Go down a size
Bought these after they were recommended by Knees Over Toes Guy. Typical shoes (unnaturally) bunch your toes together and give you a raised heel. I think narrow toe boxes are meant to look better as they make your foot appear slender and they also *seem* to emulate and create an ideal pushing motion of your foot. Raised heels are likely to be used to exaggerate your foots position to push off the ball of your foot. These are just my thoughts. The PROBLEM with narrow toe boxes is that they deform your feet and cause bunions. Raised heels on shoes shorten the length of your Achilles’ tendon, since it does not have to be elongated as much when the heel is raised. These aren’t opinions. Raised heels also makes you more vulnerable to rolling you ankle AND the rolls will be worse, as your heel is further from the ground. This is proven, see KoT guy and SquatU videos on this. Now that I explained how typical shoes work, Here is how these shoes function: These shoes do Not Have an elevated heel. They do have a toe box that is shaped to fit your foot in a more natural shape. This enables you to use your foot like a tripod and get maximum stability from your foot. This is great for weight lifters. The flat bottom profile returns your Achilles’ tendon length to its natural state and promotes better ankle mobility, which is pivotal to a deep squat. (If your ankle mobility is less than ideal, try elevating your heel on some plates.) I have always ordered shoes too big because I did not like the feeling of my toes touching the sides of my shoes. I used to wear 11-12 shoes so my I could get a wider shoe at expense of having extra space at the end. I ordered 11’s of this shoe and they had far too much space at the end. I returned for 10.5’s and they fit much better. I don’t need extra space at the end of the shoe. Also, the extra space causes your foot to slide in your shoe, creating unnecessary calluses. Cons: These shoes certainly aren’t the most stylish. Could be worse but they aren’t anything to brag about. The wide toe box looks unnatural since most ppl wear narrow shoes. The shoes are quite thin. This is great for foot awareness as much of that is lost with shoes on, but I cannot wear these walking on rocks or roots, as you’ll feel every one. Concrete is not terrible but your feet weren’t really made to walk on such a hard material so more cushion would be helpful. Running in these shoes puts a great deal of force on your calves. I wear these at the gym and walking around the store and flat areas. My feet are noticeably stronger and I can actually feel the ground under my feet with them on. I’m much more aware of how my feet are moving and reacting. My balance has improved drastically. KoT guy said he used these for basketball. I thought he was crazy until I tried it. I’ve never worn low top shoes for basketball due to my previously weak ankles. Now these are my basketball shoe. They have great tread. (KoT guy is currently developing wide toe, zero drop basketball shoes with a YouTube sneaker head that will have a thicker sole. I will buy them when they are released). I recommend these for everyone, but I do think it’s important you understand the “why” of the shoes, their use cases, and how they react on some terrain.

Inconsistent sizing
My first pair of Xero Prio were the suede variety in 11.5. They fit perfectly and are my favorite shoes. I bought the regular material Xero Prio in 11.5 and they fit almost half a size smaller. Still somewhat comfortable to walk and exercise in, but my toes feel a little contact with the interior of the shoe.

Best, WIDEST, zero drop, barefoot shoe!
These have been great! I have very wide feet (4 to 6 E) These shoes actually fit my wide feet great! A very propper built shoe! Materials seem to be high quality and robust. Unlike other barefoot shoes in this price range I haven't lost any sole in the couple of months I've owned them.

Durável, bem construído, qualidade e conforto.
Muito bom e confortável! Certamente comprarei outros! Estou usando sem insole! Legal que o próprio tênis é construído para ambas opções, de acordo com a sua adaptação ao barefoot movement.
