I was there for three weeks and topped up Vodafone 30.00 UKP in all. I had emailed the number to a list of potential and regular UK contacts. All very very good value and super simple. Purchased the SIM on AMAZON two days before my departure. ### ⭐ Annoying and frustrating. *by E***N on November 21, 2013* I got this SIM for a trip to the UK. When arriving in the UK, it was a considerable amount of effort and trouble to get this thing to work. I got it to work by going to a gas station and asking a clerk if they could give me minutes for Vodaphone. They took my payment and handed me a slip of paper with a code on it. The actual phone service was absolutely ridiculous. In order to get anything set up, you have to sit and listen to endless recordings telling you about how their service is great, you can do this, you can do that, we can now offer you this, except for this, etc. etc. In the end, I got it to work but even then the network coverage is poor, and the internet features were almost completely unusable.
