I will not say that BOELUBE sharpens drill bits while I use them. I will not say that. But I was thinking that as I found that the drill bits I was using--even the cheap ones--drilled faster and lasted longer when I dipped them in the BOELUBE gel. The gel is especially good when drilling overhead. I had been drilling through high carbon steel with great frustration, using drilling lubes and still destroying drill bits. I have no idea what gets put into the BOELUBE. Whatever the ingredients are, they hold up to high temperature drilling and don't burn off quickly like every other form of drilling oil I have used. I didn't always have the "correct" drilling lube right at hand, particularly if I was only drilling a few holes. I've tried motor oil, cutting oil, sulfonated cutting oil, synthetic motor oil, WD-40 (ecch), wax, silicone spray, ad none worked as well.
