This is a tough, well-built safe. The cylindrical keys make lock-picking more challenging. For things you might otherwise use a safe deposit box at your bank (for a fee), this is the way to go. I would recommend this to anyone with such a need. The carrying handle seems a little less than the safe should have, but I don't intend to be carrying it around. It is heavy too.

After four years of use handle broke off completely as a security safe box supposedly fire proof handle made out of plastic could have just burned off if there was fire just nothing a design flaw.

After a couple delays by Amazon this arrived in fine shape. Seems quite solid. Inside space is small, but that’s expected due to thickness and durability. Haven’t really tested it and hoping to never need to

I thought, no way could this be the "small" safe I ordered, which looked almost like a small briefcase in the online photos. To my surprise, when I opened it up, I saw a safe box that looked like something you'd probably carry gold or silver bars in. Extremely well protected and well built.Locking system: 5 starsIt uses a circular "tubular" key and lock and feels very sturdy and well built. If somebody really wanted to break into this thing, I'm 100% certain they could do it with enough time and force... but this is purposefully built to protect the contents from the harsh elements (fire, waters, heat, etc...), not necessarily to stop James Bond from capturing its contents inside -- so beware of its proper use case. This needs to be hidden and secured in an area that is difficult to locate in a burglary, since it can simply be "walked off" with, if not brute forced at the scene.Longevity / Long Lasting Quality: To Be DeterminedI've only had it for a short period, but considering that it will be stored away in a relatively calm environment, I doubt it will have any issues in its lifetime.Overall Value: 5 StarsI purchased this safe for less than $60, and I think the value compares to others 1.5 to 2x its price. If you can pick it up on sale, it's a no brainer. Even at full price, I'd consider purchasing this one again.

Pro: Looks well constructed. Fits 9x12 envelopes but not 10x13. Not too heavy to lift.Con: Rubber gasket came loose in one day, so not waterproof. Lock flimsy, could pry open with screwdriver, might pop open in fire.Bottom line: Save you money for better product.

This Sentry Safe box It's a lot heavier than you might think - it has to be solid in order to create a seal in the event of a fire that will protect your documents for up to 1-hour at 1700 degrees F! If you are looking for a Fire Safe and Secure safe to prevent your valuables from being stolen it will cost a lot more... So to get a SAFE that is also Fireproof, look for features that the safe is UL Classified to endure 1 hour at 1700°F that will keep interior temperatures safe for irreplaceable documents and valuables...

Va fenomenal para guardar en ella toda la documentación de la vivienda y polizas, y pertenencias de valor... puedo decir que de verdad funcionan, soy bomberos y en mas de una ocasión me a tocado recogerlas a petición de la aseguradora, y a pesar de que el plastico se desace, el resto sigue intacto y sin sufrir desperfectos en su interior ni por calor ni por agua, yo tengo 2 en mi domicilio y las recomiendo 100%.

First of all, I did not expect the size and weight of this thing! It’s huge!! And, it’s also pretty heavy. It’ll fit stuff nicely except one thing. You’ll need to fold an 8-1/2x11 sheet since it won’t sit properly, but other than that, so far no complaints. I used to have a small metal safety box, but it’s no where close to this. With this, I’d be confident my stuff is safe!
