It’s a very smooth glide also, not loose or choppy. I use the feature a lot as I am always sitting/standing in diff positions. I highly recommend! **Q: The non-slip mat has partially detached. how would i go about reattaching it? what kind of glue would i need?** A: I haven’t had that problem yet but I did notice one end is starting to pull up. **Q: Is the mouse pad firm enough to write on?
