Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5/PK - Stars

Great company. Their products never disappoint

I used this for holiday decorations for my students and nephew's birthday party. It did it's job very well. Sharp cutting edges! After using all the sizes, the two smallest sizes, I find, are unnecessary. It's time consuming and effortful to use my die cut machine with the smaller shapes. I think I'd rather use a punch out, especially for smaller scraps of paper!

I don't think it matters what size star one may need because this package has 5 different sizes. I use these dies frequently and find they cut well and gives me a star outline or a great star. Can't go wrong with Sizzix dies.

If you love to use dies this one is so fun! The stars can obviously be used for 4th of July but also for a great report card, "love you to the moon and back", "you're a rock star" and other themed cards or scrapbooking. You can also make a star card with the largest die and it really looks awesome and different!

I only give these dies four stars because for my purpose (I am a card maker)there are too few dies in this collection. The largest star is too big for a typical size greeting (4.25x5.5. If you are into scrapbooking though, I believe you find more uses for your pages. The quality of these dies is a solid five star rating though. They definitely meet the high standards of all Sizzix dies.

I made many, many stars for a baby shower....stars to hang, stars to decorate bottles, stars to label items, stars to scatter on the table. Very cute and die-cut was easy to use. I didn't realize until I received it that the stars were just the narrow piece of metal that cuts the paper. So I used the plexi that came with the Big Shot to set it on and run through machine - to give it the thickness needed to cut. Worked perfectly!

Fine if you use here and there. If your using as theme for a party you'll want a few sets as they will warp. I don't much care for the 1/4 inch extra edge it leaves impression on your paper.

Molto belle e valide come.tutte le.fustelle sizzix. Sono tante e anche molto grandi, infatti purtroppo per la.mia piccola thinilits non sono adatte, ho letto dietro la confezione solo una volta ricevute. Ne entrerebbe soltanto 2, quando in realtà è un bellissimo set completo. Lo consiglio tanto a chi ha macchine più grandi. Sarebbe uno spreco usarne soltanto due. Peccato. Purtroppo per la.piccola sizzix non ho trovato altre fustelle solo stella

I was going to get them via Stampin' Up but these were WAY cheaper. I don't have any star stamp sets so don't know if they are exactly the same but they look similar. They cut well and are a good range of sizes. Very happy with the purchase.
