Nature's Truth Melatonin Liquid | 10 mg

This does exactly what it’s supposed to do! For years, I’ve had horrible problems with falling asleep, and it could take me literally HOURS before nodding off. Now, after taking this, in about 30 minutes I’m pretty much out. I may wake up a couple times during the night, but I don’t seem to have much trouble getting back to sleep. I don’t feel groggy in the morning like I would taking other OTC sleep aids, which typically rely on antihistamines to get you to sleep. BLEH! Those make me feel tired, but also WIRED at the same time. Miserable! The flavor is fine, and I don’t find it unpleasant at all. It is a little thick and gloopy, but it actually makes it easier for me to hold it under my tongue for a while before swallowing it. I’ll continue purchasing this!

I’ve used a few liquid melatonin products, and had them all work equally effectively. What seems to differ is the consistency (thickness) and taste. The Adien Gagnon one I used to purchase on Amazon is no longer here, and it was my favorite: very thin liquid, berry taste. Subsequently I have only found liquid melatonins such as this one, with a thicker texture. I’m starting to not mind that as much, and the taste of this is fine. The original AG is still my favorite, but this one works identically, and just tastes a little bit thicker/weirder.

Does it taste disgusting? Yes. It’s weirdly thick too. Does it make me fall asleep within a couple hours of taking it? Also yes, and I STAY asleep. Put the dropper under your tongue and hold that melatonin there for a bit (a tip, the longer you hold it, the less gross it tastes.) Putting it under your tongue allows a faster absorption into your system. While it’s not the best tasting, I am really pleased with my experience with this brand. It works for me every night, and I’m on my second bottle! For the price point too, and the strength of it, you really can’t beat it.

I bought this because I initially couldn’t find a different brand of 10 mg. liqiid that worked well for me, but I was disappointed. It is sickeningly sweet and so thick that it’s almost gelatin. I could live with those two things, but my biggest problem is that it doesn’t work as well as my previous brand. It has an effect, but not as noticeable a one as I was used to. The search continues.

Best melatonin product out there. It's rare to find one of this potency and because it is sublingual it is quick acting.

I bought this because medical provider stated liquid melatonin is better for bioavailability (meaning, more effective in this form). It is very hard to come by liquid melatonin, especially brands that aren't loaded with artificial everything. I saw this and the reviews; was very hopeful. The taste is absolutely disgusting and nothing like berries. It's very chemically with a such a poor aftertaste. My medical provider stated melatonin is best taken between 20:00 and 21:00 and I have taken it everyday since my purchase and have found it to not be effective. I already do not use electronics before bed, use red light, and have a sound machine. I'm disappointed and will have to seek out another brand or another bioavailable form.
