This is a Green, Not a Black
This is my first taste of Dammann Freres. This particular tea (L'oriental loose) came up when I was searching for black teas, so I just assumed all was well. Turns out, it's more than a half decent green tea. Not the black I had hoped it would be, but not bad. My true love in green, however, is Mighty Leaf's Tropical. Still, this is quite good and is far superior to the generic green "matcha juice" teas which saturate the market. There are some nice nuances in here.

Delicious.
Dammann Freres is the gold standard when it comes to tea. Their shop in Paris is a wonderland of variety, and a stroll through their website is almost overwhelming in the number of choices available. This green tea is more delicate than the black teas I usually prefer. It contains a subtle overlay of flower and fruit flavors, especially peach. Delicious.

I tried this tea in Denver a few months back. It has a beautiful fragrance and a great taste. Expensive but worth it.

Delicious Fragant Green Tea!
I discovered this tea on vacation in Paris as it was one of tea choices at breakfast. Absolutely delicious with honey! Now I have to buy it from Dammann Freres in Paris because they don’t have it here in the States. Totally worth it!

delicious tea, but badly packaged by the seller
i really love this tea, it has a light floral and fruity scent and flavor. but two tin containers came so poorly packaged in a much bigger box, with basically no packaging. these containers music have been hitting each other for a while, that some of the corners were badly scratched, and both boxes had more than two dents in the metal! considering that these were expensive and bought to be gifted, they came in a inacceptable condition!

Grandioser Tee! Die Lieferung kam bei mir aus Portugal. Hat ein paar Tage gedauert in diesen Zeiten, aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Ich habe den Tee bei einem Freund getrunken und musste den haben. Fantastisch - Danke!
