I have never had a problem with anything sticking. I love these pots and pans. I unfortunately burned a pot of pinto beans the first time I used the largest pot and having done this before I was extremely upset to have ruined my new pot or so I thought. I put the pot in the sink filled it with cold water and all the beans floated to the top. I couldn't believe my eyes and have been sold on these ever since.

I am so very pleased with Gotham Steel Pots and Pans set. It is so beautiful, but the way it performs as well as incredible clean up is just amazing. I wish I had this product years ago. I have thrown out so many pots and pans which is just money wasted time after time. Previously even it the cook top did not stick, the bottom of the pieces always had fired on drippings, impossible to get clean without special cleaner and a lot of elbow juice! I accidentally burnt some butter and peppers in the fry pan which I was still able to salvage. The fry pan looked brown and I took my sponge with some Dawn and running water to clean it off. It came off in the same manner I normally clean the pan-effortlessly! I am very happy with my purchase -great product!!

I bought these after seeing a commercial of an cheese, eggs, etc., sliding off easy and it really does! I’ve been using these with a glass cooktop stove and have been very surprised at how easy it is to keep them clean!I’m new to coming in electric (versus gas), but the heat distribution has also been great; I made pancakes in the skillet and they were perfectly browned.Be careful using metal utensils on them; I used metal spoons to stir soup and the nonstick ceramic lining has started to wear on the bottom of the pan; only slightly.

I bought this set a few months ago (April 2020) and have had the opportunity to use each of the pots and pans several times (excluding the steamer... haven't used that yet). This is my second set of ceramic cookware.... I learned lessons with that first set that has helped me to keep these looking like new. I know people use that phrase all the time, but in my case, it's true, they still look like they came out of the box.The secret to properly caring for nonstick and ceramic cookware? USE MODERATE HEAT!My very first time out with a ceramic skillet and I had the white ceramic looking like a badly toasted marshmallow 15 minutes into the cook. I had the temp on high and it scorched it, period. I'm a slow learner, I guess, because I did it to the pots, too. I've found that the Gotham set requires nothing higher than medium heat... I have an ordinary run-of-the-mill electric glass top stove and never have to go above medium. The heat ring on the bottom of the pans is weighty and distributes the heat quickly and evenly and holds the heat very well.Another important tip... after you are done cooking, let the pan cool down on its own. Putting it under water right away, as others have said, can cause it to warp and not sit evenly (did that with the old set, too). After it cools down then hand wash it (I only hand wash because I've never own a dishwasher, anyway). A soft sponge or just a paper towel is all I've ever needed, even after hard searing pork chops (on medium heat) to get that lovely dark brown crust that makes them so delish.They are really beautiful in appearance, too. I knocked off one star because this product deserves to have some kind of silicone protector on the lid handles-- they get HOT! The pan handles stay cool enough to touch, but careful on the lids.I also wish there was more of a selection in the beaten copper line. I bought a large 6 qt. copper skillet from Epicurious to go with the set... it's not beaten but close enough.And one last thing... the metal heat rings aren't exactly filed smoothly so be careful on your glass top when you move the pans or you will scratch your glass cooktop.Overall, I paid full price for these at $139 and have no regrets. It is a beautiful and functional set.

I don't know if I'd pay the current price of around $140-$150, but I absolutely love these pans. Simple wipe out to clean, even heating, I haven't burned anything in them EVER, and nothing sticks! They are not the cheap $20 Copper Pans that Wal-mart has up front by the registers (though I was able to get one Gotham Steel at Wal-Mart in the pan section on clearance and wish I'd bought more).

These “non-stick pans ARE ACTUALLY NON-STICK PANS! Go figure! One thing i need to say though, i had one of these for a few years… everything stuck and i was convinced the pans were junk until a neighbor told me… its not that you don’t need to add butter or oil or especially “non-stick spray” … they should advertise “DO NOT USE BUTTER, OIL, OR ESPECIALLY NON-STICK SPRAY! They all can potentially make your food stick to the freakin pan!!! Also, do your best to not turn the heat up past a “medium” heat… if you cook, or try to cook with the heat turned up to high things will tend to stick… easier. Now that I am aware of these two things nothing sticks and they clean up beautifully most times i just wipe them out with paper towels no need to out them in the sink. These pans have made me a better cook!

Advertised (falsely) to be nonstick for 10 years. NOPE. Purchased this set in Feb of 2021. Less than 6 months the nonstick was gone. It took 10 months, YES, 10 months, to receive a replacement for the 9.75" and 8" fry pans. They kept saying it was out of stock when you could go all day long online at numerous sites and in stores to purchase them. VERY POOR customer service regarding the so call "Warranty". They finally sent 2 smaller sauté pans, which of course didn't serve the same functionality, after staying on top of them for months. I felt as though they just wanted me to go away and drop it entirely. They too have lost the nonstick capability and the pots even stick with something as simple as pasta. I've not had these 3 years and am more than dissatisfied. 10 years? Don't see that happening. I foresee more aggravation and disappointment in trying to deal with these folk and their so-called warranty, much less to mention the aspect of attempting to cook in this cookware.Wondering if it's law suit worthy at this point and how many others have had the same or similar experiences that either don't bother to complain and use the warranty or they just throw them away and get another set elsewhere that actually work as advertised. If someone can sue Reese's over the pumpkins not actually having the jack-o-lantern cut into the candy, this definitely seems more reasonable.On the Gotham Steel website they only offer a 30 day return or refund. Well, of course that's all they offer. They'll at least last the 30 days still nonstick. Give it time. After that they don't want to hear about your issues or offer adequate compensation to their customers.I would recommend buying another brand for sure.

Have had this gorgeous collection for about 4.5mths now! Quality finishing and received plenty of compliments for the beautiful pots and pans! The 8inch frying pan ended up with discolouration and staining for some odd reason unlike the remaining pots which hasn’t discoloured and looks brand new despite heavy high heat cooking

Dieses Kochset ist von guter Qualität. Ich kann es durchaus weiterempfehlen, auch wenn der Preis nicht ganz günstig ist. im Bereich Kupfer als Werkstoff sind die Preise sowieso etwas höher wie bei Edelstahl. ich koche sehr gerne damit, ...auch Gerichte wie Gulasch, Braten und Saucen gelingen mit diesen Töpfen sehr gut.

These pots and pans are exactly as advertised. A great product at a great price. I believe in buying quality products even if they cost a bit more but these pots and pans cost far less than the "hexa" pots which seem to be their closest competitor quality-wise. The non-stick surface is the most slippery I have ever used and clean up is so easy. The pots and pans are lightweight, look great and work very well on our induction cooktop. My only complaint is that there is no larger pot available. I would give 10 stars if I could!
