Inductive Hour Meter for Gas Engine Generator Lawn Mower Black

This inexpensive hour meter was easy to install and worked just fine on my Pulsar BN400. I only have 1.6 hours on it so the durability has not been determined, but so far its pretty OK.

I installed this Magicalmai inductive hour meter on my new Honda lawn mower, and it's been absolutely fantastic. It's a compact device, easy to install, and exactly what I needed to accurately track usage hours for proper maintenance scheduling. Installation took only a few minutes—I wrapped the included wire about five times around the ignition coil lead (spark plug wire), secured everything neatly with the provided adhesive tape, and used an extra zip tie through the mounting holes for added peace of mind. No external power needed—it picks up pulses directly from the engine. The device started logging hours immediately after installation, accurately tracking every mowing session. Now I can easily see exactly how many hours I've run the mower each week, which eliminates the guesswork and makes oil changes and other maintenance tasks a breeze. It also helps greatly for equipment resale down the line, as buyers appreciate knowing exact hours. The waterproof design has held up great; my mower occasionally sits outdoors under a cover and has weathered rain without any issues. The meter comes with adequate instructions and it is easy to install. I've had it on for almost a year now and has worked good. I do wish it had a feature that turned it off when the mower wasn't in use though to save battery life. Not sure what if any possibility there is to replace the battery and the instructions don't mention that.

Works great. Just wrapped the (included) wire around the spark plug wire and it automatically started tracking hours. Zero hassles.

Was in search of an hour meter to track hours used on a new champion 4000watt inverter generator. This inductive hour meter was easy to install , and took under ten minutes. Cost effective and useful! Highly recommend!

Give the proposed location of a little thought, wiring routes, avoidance of exhaust, etc and it will go great.

Just as the part description says, EASY INSTALL !! Pulled it out of the package and had it installed so fast, it took longer to run the engine to test the meter. Wow!! Very impressed with how easy and so accurate it is. Very nice unit and really inexpensive for what it does, keep your equipment out of the shop and do timely oil changes. Put this on an old generator and works great. Now for the older snow blower too. What else can i add this to is the question to save me money and time. Thank you !!!

After reviewing all the different inductive hour meters available, I opted to go with this one simply because it has the highest number of positive reviews. Very easy and straightforward installation (this is not rocket science), and it works well.
