While the 1950s language of the stories seems quaint now, it doesn't seem to matter when reading them to a 4 year old who loves trains. Hopefully it will be a reading source for a few years yet.

All the stories and more that I remember from my childhood, with high quality illustrations. While the 1950s language of the stories seems quaint now, it doesn't seem to matter when reading them to a 4 year old who loves trains. Hopefully it will be a reading source for a few years yet.

Arrived ahead of time and way better then I imagined. Brought back a lot of childhood memories and replaces the collection my late Grandfather bought me many years ago which I cannot remember if I gave away or lost. These books are so good its going to be hard to pass it down to my own children one day.
