These casters have been a great addition to my workbench. The quality is excellent, and everything feels solid and well built right out of the box. Installation was straightforward, and once mounted, they worked exactly as expected. The quick-release mechanism is reliable, making it easy to move the bench when needed and set it back down securely for work. The casters roll very smoothly, even with a loaded workbench, and they inspire confidence when moving heavy equipment around the shop. They’ve been dependable from day one and have held up well with regular use. These casters were exactly what I needed. My workbench is built from square tubing with adjustable feet, and installation was straightforward—I welded the back plates to the legs, painted them to match, then slid the casters in and secured them with the pins. The whole process was quick and hassle-free. This upgrade has made a big difference in my small shop. Being able to move the workbench easily has made rearranging and optimizing my workspace much more convenient. Highly recommend.

Really easy install. You're able to install it as a fixed setup or a removable setup. I went with the removeable setup. The instructions say to install the bracket 1.4" from the bottom, if you're wondering how much that is, its 1 6/16". I made myself a jig with that spacing to make sure I installed all four at the exact height all around. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is because when in the down position, I can't seem to use my feet to flip the casters. I have to bend down to flip them with my hand, which is obviously an inconvenience. Other than that, they roll smooth and work as intended.

Works great. Put this on my portable legs. Now I can move her around in the garage when I need more room when not in use.

awesome. I have a small workshop so I was always tripping over the previous casters on my table saw stand. I used the mounting bracket that is included so that I can take the casters off when not in use. The entire assembly is easy. The bracket mounting is great with the removable pin to remove the casters. I did go and buy some flat head screws to mount it as I didn't want to use their supplied bolts. No big deal but it seemed odd that they changed the mounting to bolts when using the extra bracket assembly. They move my heavy stand with the table saw on it without any issues. Now I do not trip on the casters when I walk around. Yeah!!

OK, so I had tried the non-plate version of this style, which were both harder to install and didn't lift particularly well. so I got these based on prior ratings. I am installing these on a CNC router which I built the table for using one of those table kits (where the heavy molded legs are in glass-reinforced nylon. So the challenge is the equipment is already working so there is ~300lbs on the table (due to the compressor underneath the CNC). It was hard to tell where to attach this since the actual legs are the nylon material. So the first thing I made (and was a key item to making the install way) was a 1" thick block (25.4mm for those not in the US) in which case you simply rest the plate on top of the block and then the holes are at the right spot. The machine screws supplied with the kit didn't reach all the way through on one of the holes (they are I think 6mm screws) so I figured a 1/4-20x3" screw [note: needs to be countersunk - not pan or hex head] would work perfectly and it did (obviously you need a 1/4-20 nut too). I slid the caster in. Stomped down and voila, everything lifted off the floor as expected. Installing each one of these takes a few seconds (I drilled a pilot hole and then the 1/4" hole), then slide the bolts through tighten the screws with a screw-gun and slide the caster in. The reason these are so much better is because it is very difficult to install with the caster in place, while the plate is trivial. I also like that if I ever need to I can pop these back off in 2 seconds just by pulling the pins. Honestly an elementary school child could install these (and for that matter lift the equipment) with a little coaching. The key is the 1" height off the floor for the plate bottom (and a little block to rest it on while drilling). The *cough* directions included in the box don't even mention the 1" clearance height, but the entry above does so I went with that (which was correct - or at least works really well) I am editing the review I left as when I got to the 4th caster of course the plate was missing - Ugh. Seriously? I almost don't feel like uninstalling to "return" the part since that's more work than it seems (it is insanely awkward around the equipment. And 3 of them are firmly bolted in.

I needed to add some removable wheels to a crate that is mounted to a palet. These worked out great. When I need to move them around the garage, I simply slide in the wheels into the brackets that I leave installed on the pallet. Then, when FedEx comes to pick up the crate/pallet, I remove them and they use their pallet jack from there. Work well as long as I stay on a flat, level surface. (Flat and level is the key) Everything to mount them was included in the box. Very stable and well made.

These do what I wanted. I am now able to roll my workbench. I don’t recommend that you place them as I have, because you trade having them out of the way for stability; however, it still works and nothing is sticking out. (I can even press down two at once, but not while holding my phone.) Still, I might move at least two of these to another side of the legs. This is simple to do because of the quick-release plates. Instructions are rubbish. Mount the plates 1.75” from the floor for a 1/2” lift. If you mount lower, you’ll have a higher lift, which is fine if you want that. I bought flat head tapered wood screws (#10 x 1.5”) to mount the plates, because what came with these casters is not the right hardware for mounting flat plates onto wood. Be sure you pre-drill the right size holes, and be careful when driving because I still sheared a screw that I bought at Lowe’s. The screws provided, for direct-mounting without the plate, are round head pan screws, and would be in the way of sliding the caster mechanism onto the plate. If you do break off a screw, you can flip the plate over and mount to the same leg (mine are just barely wide enough) because the holes are not centered horizontally on the plate. I was able to mark and drill new holes. The other provided fasteners are bolts and nuts, which might be useful to attach the plates to metal if the thickness is right. But I recommend always using better hardware than what is provided. It’s best to rotate the caster wheels to the inside before raising the workbench, to reduce stress on the connection.
