Cute and funny
My son, having watched Magic School Bus, first learned of Pluto as a planet and although I knew in the back of my mind that Pluto was no longer considered a planet it never popped into the front of my mind to preemptively mention it. So when reading further about planets he discovered that Pluto wasn't a planet anymore, he was actually quite upset about it. This book was a sweet humorous way to show Pluto himself dealing with the demotion. it's still (hilariously) a touchy subject with my first grader but with this book's help, he's not lost his desire to learn more about space and the planets. (Whew!)

For my little Pluto fan
My son LOVES Pluto (as well as all astronomical bodies), and I struggled with how to break the news to him that Pluto is a dwarf planet. This book was perfect! I think Amazon recommended it when I bought the National Geographic planet and solar system books, and I'm so glad they did. This book is informative, fun, and not too disappointing to fans of the [dwarf] planet Pluto.

A cute story
This is a really cute story where Pluto finds out he was reclassified as a dwarf plant and he comes to Earth to find out why. The book contains facts about Pluto's history with Earthlings including who discovered it, naming the planet, and the reclassification. My son is all about space and loved this story.

My sons current favorite.
My son absolutely loves this book. It is a cute book (not scientifically accurate but the title tells you that) and a fairly quick read perfect for right before bed with my 4 year old. He enjoys finding and pointing out the things that don't belong in space (like pepperoni pizza) but are there in the illustrations.

Buy this if you miss Pluto as a Planet
Thank goodness someone pulled together a story about this change that shocked many of us. Hopefully, children in years to come will still know about Pluto...a favorite planet for many. The book is colorful, fun, and informative. And the seller had great packaging and fast shipping.

Fun book with great graphics
My young grandchildren loved this book when it arrived. They were 5 and 6. When we read it together it held their attention, which says alot. I even quizzed them afterwards, with success.
