I searched “boot laces that stay tied” as a joke because I always have to stop to wait for my son to re tie his boots. I always say that one day we will find the laces that actually stay tied. This product came up, they had good reviews so I bought them. I am not disappointed! These are those laces. I should have bought the longer ones, and that was my mistake. But my son said he doesn’t even have to double knit them to keep them tied so he didn’t care that the bow was a little short.

Better than most. Laces are appropriate thickness. Stay tied. Good for work.

I have a couple of pairs of Keene hiking boots that I switch between for taking my dogs on hikes. I noticed the laces on one of the boots was quite short, and difficult to tie into the double knots I prefer. When you single knot boots they always seem to come untied at the worst possible time. So I decided to purchase longer length laces for my second pair. I saw these laces and they seemed to be a great value with 2 pairs for the price that most boot laces were selling at for a single pair. There were many color choices. I particularly liked the dark grey/black choice. The thickness looked good in the pictures, so I gave it a shot. When I received the laces a couple of days later, they exceeded my expectations. I replaced the short laces on my second pair of boots. Not only did I have the proper length now, but the laces were thicker and laced up better than the original laces. Keene puts good laces on their boots, but these are excellent. And, in my opinion, they look better. I was going to keep the second pair as spare laces, but decided to replace the ones on the other pair instead. I really love the performance of these laces. It may seem like a small thing, but if you hike a lot great laces really make a difference. I highly recommend these laces.

Why is it that shoe laces don't last as long as they used to. You pay good money for a great pair of shoes and before you know it, the outer layer of the lace starts fraying and separating from the inner core. Then, they just break. Before that, I swear the lace stretches 6 inches on each end. You end up double and triple tying just to keep from tripping on them. Good luck trying to find decent shoe laces downtown too. I found these to be a awesome replacement at a reasonable price. The laces feel well made, compared to OEM. They are sturdy, feel heavy and so far have exceeded my expectations. They have not stretched which is a bonus. One thing I like is being able to choose the length. To me, most laces that come with a shoe are too long to start out with. I orderd ones that were shorter and have not regretted it. Oh, you can also choose from multiple colors to match your tastes or mood. The only thing that would be better is if you could choose different colors within the same 2 pair per package order. I will be ordering these again, as I have other shoes that will be needing them.

The color of these laces are not exactly the same as the laces advertised on amazons website. I wanted the Dark Brown/Army green and these look like they dont have much brown in them at all. I put them under high magnification goggle lenses and they are closer to an army green/black than anything else. this isnt the first time the color was off, before I thought maybe I picked the wrong ones or the color was a little off and would order a different color and now I have a lot of the laces with the same colors and almost no laces that are the actual color I have been ordering. I dont have time to exchange or get refunds or whatever yet maybe you should know why I wont be purchasing these again. (I like the quality but the colors I'm receiving are wrong)

I do knot have anything negative to say about these laces. They arrived in no tie-m. The colour really lifted my sole too!
