Will the movement of the water from this system set off the alarm? Meaning is it too sensitive?** A: My pool does not have a self cleaning system, so I can't say for sure. I do know that barely entering the pool slowly by using my walk in step, sets off the alarm with that gentle of a ripple, before I reach the final step. The unit outside has an alarm that will wake the neighbors and the remote unit in the house is louder then our alarm system. Heavy Wind does set it off, gets your heart racing but worth it knowing you will definitely know if something or someone falls in. Gave it four stars because the screws they provided barely hold it to the concrete. I used they correct size drill bit and set the anchors. The screws do not grab deep enough.
