I hesitated to purchase this one because I read reviews which stated there was an issue in the past with the glass container being damaged in transit. My honey arrived well cradled in a couple layers of cardboard, in perfect shape. I am grateful to the company for offering their honey in glass, as I, and many others I know would not buy it in plastic. I know it would be easier for them to use plastic because it ships over the Pacific to the US where I am. But using glass attests to their integrity in providing a clean product, without plastic leaching in. Taste is delicious, and it has a nice, non-granular consistency. I understand there are no health claims made, but I have used this topically for skin conditions, and it seems to actually be helpful, somewhat to my surprise. In summary, I was very pleased and would buy this again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality at Bargain Price *by O***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2022* This is the best Manuka Honey I have found, plus it comes in a glass jar -- a rarity nowadays. I have purchased Awhi's 15+ and 18+ and they are both of excellent quality and taste. It is also at a price that is even lower that other brands that come in plastic containers. If you go to the Awhi website you will see that this honey is produced as an integral part of living in harmony with the land according to Maori indigenous values. As far as the complaints about broken or leaking containers, I have purchased about 2 dozen jars so far, and all were in good condition except one. (And this is with Amazon's notoriously poor packaging of placing several glass jars in a big box with zero padding!) Amazon issued a refund immediately, no questions asked, so there really is no risk in that regard. The glass jars come in a beautiful cylindrical cardboard container which helps with protecting the glass jars as well as makes them suitable for a lovely gift. Manuka honey has potent healing properties and is good for soothing the throat, acid reflux, G.I. upset, wound healing, burns and more. Honey found in Egyptian tombs hundreds or thousands of years old, has been found to be unspoiled, such is the amazing nature of honey if stored properly.
