Filson Alaskan Guide Shirt

Filson shirts are the best, built to last for years, maybe decades, if properly cared for. Yes, they are expensive, but they are worth it. Heavy weight flannel that is wind resistant, and still soft enough to be comfortable. I only wish they were made in the USA like they used to be.

The shirt is awesome but huge! My husband said sporting goods brands tend to run larger than normal fashionable/trendy brands because they demographic is different.

This shirt fits as I would expect a large to fit. If your used to low quality shirts that you buy a size larger to be sure of fit fear not with the Filson. Im 6 feet 205 pounds and the large fits perfect if not roomy. There is enough room for a thermal underneath. This is easily the finest flannel shirt that I have ever worn. It's thick and warm.

I purchased a similar Filson shirt for my son a few years ago. That shirt has held up under a lot of use, over the years. I’m expecting the same excellent wear from this shirt.

This shirt has already become one of my favorites. It is durable, well made (which is what to expect from Filson) and warm. I am 6 ft.150 lbs. and it fits me great with a little wiggle room for mobility. I'd go so far as to say it fits me better than my Cascadia Filson shirt. Will be great for backcountry hiking or just everday wear.
