The Complete Book of Dragons: A Guide to Dragon Species (How to Train Your Dragon)

My 8-year-old daughter is an avid reader and loves How to Train Your Dragon, so this book was an obvious choice for us. She loves it! It’s a very nice quality book and the artwork in it is really cool. It was one of her favorite Christmas gifts and I highly recommend it for the little dragon-lovers in your life.

This was a requested gift. I was able to check it out before I wrapped it. Hard cover, beautiful illustrations on quality, thick paper. Such a nice book. I was so glad I was able to get it for such a great price at the time. It's hard to get books this nice and of such quality at the price point I was able to get this for.

Grandsons LOVE this book! They are both huge How To Train Your Dragon fans and often refer to this book to help identify what they are seeing on the screen. They also use it to choose their dragon when they are using their imaginations and playing together.

This is a thick book and the quality of it is very nice. My son is obsessed with the movies, so I ordered this. We have only read the first book in the series. Perhaps there is no Night Fury in the books because this book didn’t have one. My son was hoping to learn more info about Toothless and was a bit disappointed. That isn’t the reason for 4 stars though. There are many dragons in this book, I guess we were hoping for a bit more info on each one. Every dragon shows numerical ratings and the sections are arranged by type, but there isn’t too much of a description for each one, and it’s a bit tricky to find the exact dragon you’re looking for. We are keeping the book bc my son does enjoy looking through it and the drawings are kind of cool.

Quedó feliz con el libro...

Got it for our 4-yr old, who has recently graduated to Dragons. We took him to see Train Your Dragons 2 in theatre recently, and this book was like a gift from heaven for him... nothing less would have satisfied his curiosity. The book is spot on - just the right page size and weight for little hands to hold on to, with thicker-than-regular pages so that a toddler won't tear it everytime he tries to turn the pages... and the overall build and look and feel is very sturdy. The content quality is also very nice, and quite impressive. Definitely recommended for any child into dragons. Ties in wonderfully with the Dragons storyline, including the few episodes available on Netflix. Our son has not yet started watching the Defenders of Berk series on CN, but I don't have any doubts whatsoever this will fit in nicely with that as well.

A capa é muito boa! Bem espessa e ao mesmo tempo agradável ao toque. As páginas parecem de revista, com várias ilustrações incríveis, com qualidade de imagem impecável! Não existe tradução deste livro, mas, como amante da série, comprei em inglês e não me arrependo!

De todos los libros que tengo de esta hermosa saga es el que más me gusta en cuanto a dibujo. A diferencia del resto de libros, sus hojas son gruesas, brillosas, las imágenes son de calidad como fotografía y no tienen ese estilo de libreta antigua (hojas de diferentes tamaños). Me encanta que vengan descritos los diferentes dragones. En cuanto al servicio, me lo enviaron junto a otros libros que pedí, en el tiempo establecido, y todos llegaron en excelente forma.
