I use this in a mixture of my homemade facial serum so it's hard for me to judge the quality of this rosehip on its own. But the orange color of the oil (even diluted 1:3) definitely leaves a tint on the skin. Since I have medium olive skin it's not as noticeable however for someone who has fair skin, I think it might be a problem. UPDATE: After some more online research I read from multiple sources (not related to the manufacturer) that rosehip oil with a richer hue of orange is indicative of the oil being cold pressed and also indicates the presence of skin-protecting carotenoids while paler hues CAN indicate that the oil has oxidized. I'm by no means an expert but after my research I am no longer concerned about the bright orange color of the oil.
