The reason I only gave the book four stars was because of the fact that, as other buyers have stated, the last twenty or so pages of the book are a list of PA programs and then just blank pages. Other than that, the book was definitely worth purchasing even if you have done your research about the application process. It was shipped quickly. That's all I ask.That being said, I followed much of the advice in this book as I applied to 13 PA schools recently. I have been offered 8 interviews, two rejections, and still waiting to hear from three schools.Bottom line, have a good personality, be yourself during the interview and saturate your application with the four following things:1) Patient contact hours2) a high Grade Point Average (at least for your science and math prerequisites)3) volunteer hours (doesn't have to be medical)4) shadowing experience (just ask any PA if you can shadow them, even if you don't know each other.
