There is no reason laugh at someone!!!! However, even if you agree on such jokes/humiliations, this books is totally above of that. This is a great book for the beginners. I wasn't complete beginner to AWS but it still helped me know about a few things that I missed earlier. I just skipped the things I already knew. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good overview for semi-techies & techies *by M***N on June 23, 2014* This is a good overview of AWS for people who want to understand what AWS offers -- semi-techies like me. Once it explains the multiple offerings, the book goes into depth about to work with the application programming interface -- the API that one encounters when using AWS. That part is more for techies than for "dummies". The one disappointment is that it doesn't discuss specific third party applications that can be used by people who prefer not to build their own applications to run on AWS, and who don't want to go to an outside developer. For example, there must be someone somewhere who offers a canned application for people who want to back up data such as photos or music to S3 or to Glacier. But the only 3rd party software mentioned is Backupify, which handles data you store in the cloud, but mot data on your on-premise servers.
