It overwrites itself from oldest to newest. No need to pop the card out and put it in your computer. So long as the micro SD card doesn't fail, you should be fine just leaving it in the camera and letting it do what it does. **Q: Do I need Alexa to use this?** A: This is a Micro SD card. It can be used in anything that accepts a Micro SD card. The Wyze camera accepts a Micro SD card for Local storage which I am guessing that this question is about.
