He was so excited to fill it with the whiskey I got him to go with it that I had to stop him and remind him to wash it first. He immediately asked where I ordered it from because he wants to order my stepdad one for his 60th next month.I didn’t read the measurements so wooden box is bigger than I expected. It’s beautifully made and I was impressed by the dovetail joints. I doubt the decanter and glasses will even be put back in the case again by my boyfriend but I’m still happy I went with the upgrade. It added that special extra touch when he opened it and I’m sure I’ll find a good use for it.The glass is crystal clear and the engraving is beautifully done. The decanters glass is nice and thick and the cups feel durable too. I wish I would have taken better pictures because these really don’t do this set justice, I’ll try to remember to update my review with a better pic in a few days when I’m back home.I did assume the coasters would be personalized as well because they are in the some pictures but they are just plain black coasters. I can’t find anywhere that says they are supposed to either and it’s a big deal to me either way.After adding the upgrades it ended up being more expensive than I initially planned on spending but I’m happy I still decided to go for it.
