This is not the case with other kettles. - the min water req is 0.5l and max is 1.5l, this feels a little constrained. - the buttons to press have no haptic feedback, just the sound - my kettle stopped working just over a month after getting it - there are only 4 temp modes, I wish there was one at 155 degrees, and one at 190 or 195 instead of 200. - the temp almost boils to 212 even when I select 200 I would suggest getting the similar kettle by Krups as it resolves each one of the above problems, including the water pouring nicely. Couldn't wait to try it. Fast heating, solid item. Made well. Filled to Max. As far as I could tell the water comes out about 3-4° hotter than the digital gauge indicates. But then again, it may be my thermometer that is off! Acceptable to me. Double wall is nice so no fear of burning yourself. Heated from 80° tap water temp (Florida) to 175° in under 4 minutes. Temp touch setting is super sensitive. Almost like you're not even touching the pot and setting adjusts! Very good thing! NO PLASTIC TOUCHES LIQUID!!! Finally! I returned 2 others to Amazon because there was plastic in contact with liquid even though description indicated there was not. Why can't the other manufacturers consider the health of their clients as this one does? This pot is very light and returns to base without having to fight it like I did my other! Very quite operation. Didn't even know it was working except temp gauge was going up! Actually seems to be well made, including the lid that is connected to the handle. Solid that is. Handle seems to be well sealed so no water can get into it like so many others. Also the bottom is reasonably sealed to not allow water in if you get a little sloppy when cleaning.
