Men's Chesapeake Ankle Boot

These boots have been a solid choice for working outdoors at our Resort. They’re surprisingly lightweight for steel toe protection, making long days on your feet much more manageable. Whether I’m hauling gear, setting up banquet spaces, or working around motorhomes, these boots keep me safe and comfortable without slowing me down.

I moved to Florida and am getting eaten alive by bugs, especially my shins and feet. I got these to wear in the yard and while walking the dog. They do the trick. They are tall enough that I feel protected from bugs up to my knees. It is also wet here, raining almost every day. I can slog through the wet yard with these comfortably. I like the "pull" holes on the sides, and they slip off easily. Three things, though. They are rubber, so after wearing them a while in the heat, when they come off they smell pretty bad. Second, I was challenged to find the right size when ordering. I searched for women's boots, and these came up, but I was not certain if they were listed in men's or women's sizes. I guessed and got a men's 8 (I wear a women's 9.5 +/-), and they fit great - a little roomy. On the boot's bottom it says M8 and W10; I wish the listing was that clear. Finally, they are heavy, with the steel toe, so if you need light-weight footwear, this isn't it. Overall I like them and hope to wear them for several years.

Good boot and I like them except they did not fit. They sent completely the wrong size. I am a man and I think they sent me women’s sizes which was way too small. I sent them back. And I clearly specified my size.

The top is pretty thin rubber, which is good for flexibility but not so good for when you have a toddler yanking on your boot loop to keep his balance the whole time you're out. He did rip one of the loops used to pull the boots on, but that doesn't affect it keeping water out so I'm not too worried. That said, if I'd actually been using them to pull my boots on, I might have ripped it myself.

These were perfect for what I wanted. They fit very slightly loose, which I like. They pull on easy, even over sweats, and they're waterproof and durable. Zero complaints.

Out of the box they are not that comforable. I added some foot inserts and that helped somewhat. If you dont mind adding the inserts and wearing extra thick socks to add cushioning -- they are decent value for the money. On the other hand - for an additional $10 or so I would have invested in boots that come comfortable from day 1.

Wide calf, very easy to put on/ take off, I have worn them for a day- comfortable . Might wanna put moisture absorbing insoles, other than that- pretty good pair
