It’s primary function is wire stripping **Q: Anybody try using this to strip 10 awg wire? if so how did it work? thanks** A: 10 Gage is small wire. So, it should work fine. I've used it to strip 20 amp house wire with no problem. I use the top head not the strippers in the handles. All of these designs seem to work OK. **Q: is there a warranty on these tools?** A: Only thru Amazon. Mine worked fine. It's not a heavy use stripper. If you need that then get a Klein. ## Frequently Bought Together - Amazon Basics Professional Self-Adjusting Wire Strippers and Crimper Tool, Black/Red - AIRIC UL Listed 200 Pcs Wire Butt Splice Connectors Kit, 22-10 AWG Electrical Crimp Terminal Connector Kits, Fully Insulated Wiring Straight Crimps Terminals for 22,20,18,16,14,12,10 Gauge Wires - Nilight - 50004R 120 Pcs/60 Pairs Quick Splice Wire Terminals T-Tap Self-stripping with Nylon Fully Insulated Male Quick Disconnects Kit, 2 Years Warranty --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/174258865-amazon-basics-self-adjusting-wire-stripper-and-crimping-tool-strips](https://www.desertcart.in/products/174258865-amazon-basics-self-adjusting-wire-stripper-and-crimping-tool-strips) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
