It loads a windows 10 desktop and then doesn't do anything?** A: When I first inserted the disk I thought it was not doing anything as well my screen was grey. What you need to do is leave the disk in the pc/laptop running. Depending on how fatal the error is on the hardrive is how long it will take to fix. Then it shuts the pc/laptop after the fix and reboot at least twice it happened on my laptop. The process took over 8hrs for me because of the errors I had. My laptop runs on windows 7.
