These work as intended. It does take quite some time to actually get them to heat in the microwave and I don’t have a low watt microwave. They do a nice job of staying warm or cold for the time it takes to reach a venue.

These Work Very Well!
My son likes to take leftovers in his lunch but keeping them warm was an issue until he bought these. He heats one pack up for 2 minutes in the microwave then puts it in a cooler with his lunch on top. 4 hours later when he eats lunch it's good and warm. Highly recommend for hot or cold lunches!

The pack provided what I needed, which was to keep the food warm while I traveled to an event.
It kept the food warm as I expected, and it fit in the space provided in the carrier. However, when I was ordering I needed only a hot pack, because I already had a cold pack. I wasn't able o get just a hot pack at a reasonable price. So I settled for the combo pack.

Great replacement!
I accidentally microwaved the hot/cold pack that came with my Pyrex portable carrier a little too long and it burst. This replacement is identical to that one that came with my carrier. I’ve used it multiple times and it works very well.

Great for keeping food warm
This was an exact replacement of an old one we had that my husband blew up in the microwave. We use it to keep food warm when we put it in an insulated food travel tote. Can’t speak to its cooling ability. Highly recommend for keeping food warm however.

How to keep food warm or cold
Times have improved these. Now 1 is good for hot or cold instead of one for hot and one for cold like in the "olden" days.
