She colored all over it and uses it as a step stool. It's still well put together and easy for me to lift. She loves to sit and eat her snacks on it. I bought it for my 2 year old nephew and it was a good size for him. It's actually a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be. **Q: Should there be holes where the drawing surface/lid is supposed to be screwed in? I just received the desk and I don't see any holes in that area.** A: Yes. There is a hinge that bolts through to the ugly side at the top. I bought an old one at a garage sale and it opens up and I love that option.** A: Yes!!
