It hadn't even dropped leaves. Moreover, after moving to our dry climate it still only dropped 2 leaves. There were no black spots from under watering either--it had been well taken care of and is a beautiful healthy little plant. Now I am busy pinching back new growth. I don't water quite as often as directed--every 7 to 10 days works great here, and I water deeply. Morning misting works well. I have now ordered more trees from Joebonsai. Review: This very unhealthy plant is not returnable - Smaller, yellower and not nearly as attractive as the photo on desertcart.
