I got this stand to go with my Surface Pro X, rather than an iPad Pro. The SurfacePro X only has two USB-C ports besides it’s Surface Connect port and this works out substantially cheaper than the official Surface Dock and seemed like a good idea. So far I've tried out using the SD and MicroSD card readers, the USB ports and charging the tablet via the USB-C PD port, and those features work pretty well. The 3.5mm headphone/audio jack does not seem to work for me, the tablet doesn't detect any kind of additional audio device and no sound output comes from that connector to my speakers. I've not yet tried using the HDMI port, but I suspect that it will work. (I suppose it's possible that the audio output is only enabled when the HDMI connection is also in use, but if that's the case it's not very well explained anywhere).

Generally I like it. A sturdy stand, good design. Charger works well. Would recomended.

I bought for my iPad Air 2, and it doesn't go with it. It goes with my mobile - EXCEPT, only if I use my mobile to charge things attached to the hub. I wanted the hub for my iPad, I wanted to set up a keyboard, and mouse, and to be able to download photos from my Huawei to my iPad. I'd like a refund, BUT Amazon would need to collect - as I am housebound because of the lock-down!!!

This product was brilliant. Came quickly, packaged well and the device itself works like a dream. I now do video presentations and conference calls from home and it's been very helpful showcasing work and more enjoyable doing my zoom calls from my tablet and on a larger screen. I'd advise anyone to buy this.

I don't normally write reviews but I thought it was right to let other prospective purchasers of my experience. Item is well packaged and is solidly made , however, poor instruction booklet was extremely poor. . I bought it to extend storage capabilities of my IOS and Android products. Sadly to say it did not work and I am returning for a refund today.

Product arrived, well boxed, neat and tidy, includes a small screwdriver to attach the 3 screws that hold the back slider and base together. Overall fit, finish and build at first glance is good, no visible scratches, loose or ill fitting edges etc. The USB-C cable that is used to connect to your machine is a little short, a little stiff and not very flexible which is a plus and a minus, I'll get to that in a minute. BE CAREFUL WITH THE SD AND MICRO-SD CARD INSERTION The SD card insertion is contact DOWN and the Micro-SD is contact UP and it is all to easy to jam the cards in the wrong way round, just be careful The main pain is the sliding bar arrangement where the base and the main square connector unit join. There is a ridged set of cuts on the back of the metal riser bar...GOOD, There is a rather flimsy square plastic guide with a plastic catch to hook onto the riser bars' cuts on the back of the connector...BAD When you slide the main square connector unit down the riser bar it barely locks and can slide up and down with the slightest provocation. This is where the stiff USB-C cable accidently comes into it's own, if you push the cable through the cut out in the bottom of the riser bar, it is stiff enough to keep the main connector mostly in position The downside is the cables stiffness makes it a pain to plug this in to my Surface Pro X socket as I have to twist the head through about 45 degrees and it may/will apply undue strain on the socket over time.. It is compounded by being just a wee bit too short. If the plastic catch was stronger OR the USB-C cable was about a centimetre longer it wouldn't be the niggle it is. Suggestion for improvement around the base and riser. This is a unit ideal for tablets, phones etc and would be great to throw into a bag and take with you. Since you have to screw the base and riser together you can't. If the riser was on a lockable pivot so that it could lock down flat this would be ideal for a greater audience. Solid 4 out of 5, for fit and function, 2.5 out of 5 for the locking catch in plastic, 3.5 out of 5 for missing the ability to fold flat for mobile working

Ich war lange auf der Suche nach einem Produkt, um mein iPad Air 4 als Arbeitsgerät, sowie Privat zu nutzen. Ein großes Manko, was die meisten Hüllen für Tablets haben (auch das Magic Keyboard), ist dass man das Gerät entweder immer mit der Hülle betreiben muss oder dass man das Gerät „Nackt“ mit sich rumschleppt. Des Weiteren muss man immer ein Dongle mit sich rumtragen. Das ByEasy Dock löst alle meine Probleme. Ich kann mein Tablet in meiner Lieblings-Slim-Hülle lassen und trotzdem es bei Bedarf in das Dock legen und alle arbeitsrelevanten Geräte (Maus, Tastatur, Monitor etc.) nutzen. Für mich die perfekte Alternative zu sehr teuren Hüllen. Mit dem ByEasy Dock bin ich definitiv am flexibelsten!

IPad Pro 2020に使用する目的で購入。届いてすぐに試してみました。なんの問題もなく使用でき、大変快適です。 以前一度コードのないiPadに直接装着するタイプのハブを購入したのですが、装着部分がガタガタし接続も安定せず、無事に繋がってもUSBを認識しないなど不具合があり返品しました。 そのため今回はコードのあるタイプを探していたのですが、こちらの製品はほかにはないスタンドにもなるタイプ。繋いでテーブルにハブが転がっているよりは、スタンドと一体型になれば机周りもスッキリするかとこちらに決めました。 Magic keyboard を使用することもあるのですが、直接はめ込むタイプのものと違ってカバーとの緩衝を心配することもなく、こちらの製品なら写真のように隣に置くことにはなりますがなんの問題もなく使用できます。 コードもとても丈夫にできていて高級感もあります。 スタンドとして使用する場合に、iPad本体の真後ろ中央にハブがあるため見えにくく、作業途中のUSBなどの抜き差しがしづらいのがちょっとマイナス。 それでも大きな問題ではありません。これからiPadの使い勝手がますます良くなりそうです。

Malheureusement cela ne fonctionne pas sur iPad Pro.

I bought this mainly because I wanted to use my iPad Pro with music programs like Amplitube, AmpKit, and some of the Korg Synthesizer apps. With just the one USB-C port, I needed to be able to input sound signals, output sound, and plug in a music keyboard. So far, so good with playing sound out through the headphone port on this. I have yet to test hooking my Apogee Jam to the iPad using the USB-A port so I can hook my guitar up. If I have any issues, I will update my review. But for now, I'm giving it 5 stars because it works great as a stand (no stability issues), and it has all the ports that I can foresee needing.
