I noticed that after two days, the backs were beginning to look rough. A part of me is considering having the shoes resoled but am reluctant to spend the money (these weren't cheap to begin with) and worry that they won't look as good afterwards.EDITED TO ADD: after a couple months, the shoes looked very old - especially in the heel where the sole was too thin and the suede rubbed off.The velcro strap is a little annoying to use because it is thin and finicky; it's hard to find a sweet spot where the strap stays on the ankle but doesn't cut off circulation. It sometimes hangs at the ankle and looks loose and forlorn. I honestly would have preferred a real buckle.The black suede looks dirty easily (but I guess that's just the nature of suede) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another winner by Earthies *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2018* I love Earthies shoes and own six pairs. They are stylish, comfortable and good quality. These Capri shoes are no different than what I’ve come to expect. They fit true to size. The strap is comfortable and would fit a variety of ankle sizes. My feet are slightly narrow, and the shoes feel good. I’m not sure they would work for wide feet, but other reviews might cover that. I broke these in within a day because the leather is soft (but holds its shape well).The only small downside is the suede attaches to the sole on the underneath side of the shoe, meaning some suede is exposed to the ground. On flat surfaces like cement, the sole is thick enough that the suede won’t touch the ground. But on rocky surfaces or grass/dirt, the suede may come in contact with the ground. Over time, I wonder if the suede on the bottom will get chewed up. But, it’s on the underside, so I don’t think anyone will see it. Time will tell. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Arch Support *by L***F on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2019* I own several pair of Earthies for the superior arch support. I have plantar fasciitis so arch support is a must. One of the other reviewers mentioned this. The rubber sole is nice but paper thin and all the way around the shoe is not as wide as the leather part; the shoe itself. I got the grey which is a very light silver-grey metallic suede. The leather hangs over the sole all the way around the shoe. In a darker color probably wouldn't have the same concern. Unless you walk a 100% of the time on perfectly smooth, perfectly flat and clean surfaces, all the leather edges all around the shoe will easily get scuffed and dirty. I am NOT hard on my shoes whatsoever but with just normal wear and walking these would look pretty torn up in no time. Not a smart design to have the rubber sole less wide than the actual shoe itself.
