What I never liked about using them is that they would always slip off-center when lowering from the front or rear jack points. I would have to lower the jack very carefully to make sure they wouldn't slip. It's a pain when you have to raise and lower a few times just to make sure they are lined up.Since they also just rest on the stands they can easily be misplaced. I've spent too much time just looking for them since I'm not organized enough. I recently just lost one so I was about to order another set.I was relieved to have found these. They are a little expensive but they are worth every penny to me. They aren't an exact fit but they still grip the top of the stand. No slipping at all. I don't have to lift and lower my car multiple times anymore. I can also leave them on and they won't fall off whenever I move them from storage.I highly recommend these for anyone with aluminum jack stands. I don't understand why it has taken so long for something like this to hit the market.I found the photo online but I will update with personal photos soon.UPDATE: I've noticed the price has gone up on these. I have to keep my 5 stars since it's the only pad available that actually works. I bought them at $14 a piece. They are expensive. If you are someone that utilizes your jack stands frequently then the price shouldn't be an issue. These pads are still not perfect but they are the best available. It holds my car over my body and I value my safety.
