Thanks!** A: That 220vac motor will have a data plate that might say full load amps or something like that. Clamp hot wire somehow to get the best reading and if it's pulling higher amperage than what it's rated for, get a new motor. It should run below what it's rated for. As for the lamp, I can't imagine why you would need to check amp draw for that but this meter will do it brah... It's pretty accurate **Q: I need to measure volts, amps and hertz to adjust my generator. Does this model measure hertz?** A: NO.
