Great bar

The bar is great, easy to assemble, and doesn’t bend with relatively small amount of weight I put on it. My only real issue is that Amazon sent me an open box return that was missing the locking collars. Way to rip me off Amazon!

Very good bar. Be wary that until you break in the bar and the gripping that runs along the bar, it can catch and snag your clothing. The only issues I have with this bar is that the spindle locks come undone after a handful of sets and the weights start to lean a little, so you have to retighten them every so often.

I'm not cramping my shoulders anymore when squatting so A+ the bar is a gem .

Perfect for use at home. Super easy to attach weights and screw-on caps keep the weights in place. Enjoying these for a variety of at-home exercises. I’m a grandma in my sixties, and use the weight bar several times a week.

Very unhappy with this bar. First off i just got it today and after only adding about 60lbs its already showing visable bending. Secondly, the weight stops are to close together for a standard benches uprights. It must sit off center making it imposible to put weights on without them being off center. I strongly suggest rethinking this purchase unless you have a very narrow bench. This bar cannot withstand anything heavy. Its is bowing with less than 100 lbs. Its 2 bar screwed into eachother is a horrible design.

The two pieces don't lock together very well. Noticeable wiggle even without plates. It will also unscrew during use. Using a bit of thick thread locker fixed this issue but then it really isn't a two piece bar anymore. If you MUST have a two piece bar I'd look elsewhere unless you're on a budget. Thread locker and using as one piece bar is fine.

The price is good for this solid bar. I was concerned about a 2 piece but it handles 275 no problem so far. And it fits equipment where the standard 5' can't.

The bar is very well constructed and should be able to handle over 200 lbs with no problem. I was a little concerned before buying because the picture didn't show how it connected in the middle. I was happy to see that it screws together and has a sleeve that goes over the threads as well. One draw back is that the collars tend to loosen on there own but they also screw on so there is no danger of the weight falling off. Also, where the bar connects in the middle it will loosen as well but again just check it after each set and tighten as needed.
