Review: Great for a quick, easy overview--even if you're an adult - I would never have the discipline to wade through The Odyssey but have always been curious about it. Yeah, I could have gotten the SparkNotes or Cliff's Notes but recall this series, then called, "Classic Comics" from my childhood, so I decided to get it. It's way too expensive but it feels like an acceptable splurge. I got what I wanted: an easy-to-understand summary, including illustrations, of the Odyssey, and a useful discussion of it at the end of the book.

I would never have the discipline to wade through The Odyssey but have always been curious about it. Yeah, I could have gotten the SparkNotes or Cliff's Notes but recall this series, then called, "Classic Comics" from my childhood, so I decided to get it. I read these classics comics as a kid and it is wonderful to see them available again. Beautifully illustrated and they still cover all the essential details. I wish they would issue these for Kindle as well.
