Sony D-EJ100 Walkman Portable CD Player (Blue)

I needed a portable CD player for my board review CDs. I know that some stores still sell these but the quality always varied in the past so I wanted a Sony. I had no idea how different one was from the other, specifically, the playback in hours for one set of batteries - some are in the 20s while others in the 70s. I chose this because it was something like 55 hr and the price was right. Works great, playback is clear, long-lasting, and doesn't skip. It has a few features, an AC outlet, a four-pin port for audio (export, I believe), and three levels of bass which my half-broken headphones just distort. Great find!

Sounds really nice and does not easily skip. Really great high fidelity reproduction of music. No splatter or distortion of high notes which is common with off-brand models. The one annoying feature is the loud double and triple beeps injected into the audio channel when you press the pause, play, forward, back buttons, and worse, continuously repeating loud beeps when paused. It is unpleasant and needless, and means you can't pause to talk to someone or listen to something without taking your headphones off.

Doesn't work& it's damaged.

CD player arrived sealed and in good condition. Sound quality is good. Seller responded fast to my queries. Good purchase!

Worked well

Product came as described however did not work.Tried pre recorded cd, cd-r and cd-rw discs. All didn't play. Replaced batteries that came with player with new ones. Appears to have problem somewhere internally with the laser as it turns off automatically.

I bought this a couple years ago and it cost less than half of what it costs now. But last summer my friend droped it on the floor and messed it up so it wouldnt play. I was also haveing other trobles like a part inside the cd came apart so id have to shake it sometimes to get it to work. i like the headphone becase they stay in your ears. its a good cd play in all. The sound was pretty good to. the battery was good it lasted for a while.

It states that headphones and a remote control was supposed to come with it but it only had the cd player. I'm a little disappointed in it, at least it wasn't something I bought for myself but it was for my dad so it's like whatever. If I bought it for my personal use I would probably return it.

The picture was different from what I got. And it did not came with a headset but it was handy and works fine so I hope it lasts.
