The steel used is VERY sturdy, and I can report that it works excellent on my 32 inch Samsung Curved monitor. If I had one negative to report it would the price, it’s a little expensive at $50. The extra offset due to the adapter needing to avoid wire connections makes it difficult for the monitor arm to resist the twisting motion. I got the nicer Amazon Basics, which I believe is intended to compete with Ergotron. That worked amazingly well. Make sure you use PH1 instead of the far more common PH2, since the screws are easy to strip otherwise. Fantastic product.
