Travelpro Maxlite 5 Softside Spinner Set, Black, 2-Piece (21/25)

I have not used the luggage, but I have confidence in the Travelpro brand, as I have owned the brand before. It held up and kept its value, and was passed down to another family member.

I just got my luggage for a trip this weekend leaving until Dec 6. When I pack the medium one the front zipper can open under the closure. No time to return now and I need it. I just did not put things in the front compartment. What should I do. I love the way it wheels and the way it looks. But I need to use it with the zipper. Any advice ???

Travel extensively internationally and had luggage fall apart while our travel partners had TravelPro luggage that looked brand new even after many, many European trips with it. Didn't go with the hard side because they weigh more and this way the weight is my stuff and not the luggage.

I purchased a two piece set to replace a set I have had for several years. The material that the pull handles on the prior set had began to break down and they became very sticky. I tried wrapping them with tape and material, but then you can't push the button to put the handle up or down. Otherwise the set was just fine. When the new set arrived, I realized it appeared to have pull handles made of the same material (some sort of plastic). I attempted to contact the manufacturer to see if they had changed the handle material, but after spending more than 30 minutes waiting for a response to my question, when the chat said it would be a 4 minute wait. I gave up and I'm assuming the new luggage handles are going to deteriorate just like the old ones. Now I'm back to shopping for a new 2 piece set of luggage and it won't be from Travelpro.

After 2 trips, the handle won’t extend up. Don’t know what to do with it. Amazon won't stand by this product and Travel Pro won't acknowledge the sale. I'm stuck with a very expensive piece of luggage that I can't use.
