This beautiful Vaseline Glass Pennsylvania Rubber Company Tire Ashtray measures 3 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches long and 4 inches wide. This Vaseline Glass Tire Ashtray was made from the original 1923 Westmorland Glass Mold. It was used to promote Pennsylvania Rubber Company's Vacuum Cup Cord Tire Design. It is Marked VC Non Skid in the middle. The outside of the tire reads 33 X 5 VACUUM CUP CORD. I am showing a picture of a original Pennsylvania Rubber Vacuum Tire ad that was published in September 1923 that will show when this tire design was promoted. The Paper ad is not for sale it is just to show the date of this mold and tire design. It was handmade in the USA by Mosser Glass in Ohio. The mold was sold after Westmorland closed to Summit Art Glass which is no longer in business. Rosso Glass now owns the mold and it has been made in very limited numbers. It is marked on the bottom with Rosso's Keystone mark.
