Overall build quality. Weight
Overall rod quality and rod build is great. The weight of the rod is is balanced pretty well from the top grip down. The eyes seem to be put on very nicely with nice resin and wonderful wrap. And the silver carbon fiber look is amazing and the fighting butt on the bottom is very good quality. Overall, I'm very happy with this product. It is going to be a great travel Rod to fly with me everywhere I go.

Great option for a versatile boat rod
Purchased the 7', 3-piece. It is described as a 'spinning' rod. But the rod is somewhat caught in between a boat rod and a casting rod. It's just too stiff of a rod to use for distance casting. Also, the first guide is somewhat small for the spinning reel size one would use (6000 or larger). So I wouldn't pair it with a spinning reel. However, my needs were: 1. Easy to travel with 2. Versatility to use as a boat rod for either bottom fishing or bait casting or trolling 3. Capable of landing fish to 40 pounds. It is capable of all three. Its three pieces were compact in the case that came with the rod. It won't fit into a checked bag but I easily carried it on board a plane as a personal item. I paired it with a Penn Rival 15LW (it can certainly take a larger reel but I need to travel with minimal weight and size, so I went with this reel). I practiced casting with it in the backyard using a 1-ounce sinker. I could get 30-40yds distance. So, yes you can cast with this rod. If you needed to put a spinning reel on it, you could - but it's best paired with a smooth casting conventional reel. This is NOT a surf casting rod - not enough whip in the upper portion of the rod. I used it for trolling and bottom fishing in the Florida Keys with jigs, spoons, umbrella rigs. I didn't catch a fish on this specific rod but it would do well for anything from 5lbs (overkill for this size fish, yes) up to 50lbs or more. It's also a very handsome looking rod if that matters to use.

I keep buying these, just realize one thing
OK. So, I don't do as many reviews as I should on Amazon. I usually rely on all you folks. But I just received 2 more of these rods. What our family does with these is to travel on planes and go fish saltwater. Value for buck is good, but there's one thing you should know. You need to sand down the connecting points on some of these or you will NEVER get them apart. I actually own one at our condo down south where I can't get it apart. Not with tools. Not with two people pulling. So I left it there. But there's a simple solution. Sand the connection point down. Keep testing it. Then use the graphite you just made to slide better. Then you've got a really solid travel rod that's about 6.5 feet long. It's action is very fast, meaning it's a very stiff rod. This works out to being a great speed jigging rod, OK for casting. It can handle a large reel. It's not going to give you a crazy long shore cast because it's not long or bendy. It does OK in that regard, but not really what it's designed for. The people who said it broke probably lost the top piece because they threw it in the ocean after the couldn't get it secure. I've never broken a piece but I did do that. Then they sent me a new one for about $10 from China, with solid customer service but it did take like 6 weeks. I've caught BIG fish on this, multiple times. I really can't find a better rod for the money, and believe me, I've definitely looked and bought other ones that I believed would be fine. I'm just never going to spend $150 for a rod. This one actually does the job.

Bummer
I have had rod for 6 months finally used it and rod broke on a 3lb fish super disappointed it broke just before the reel so the thickest part of rod at first sight rod is fantastic but it couldnโt even handle a small fish

Sturdy, Portable and very practical!
Bang for the buck! I purchased 2 fiblink 6โ fishing rods and it has been the best decision for my fishing trips. It comes in a convenient bag that allows me to pack it and carry it with ease. The rod is split in 3 parts, which is incredibly convenient for trips that require me to fly. I purchase 1 single bag, and store it inside it at no extra cost. I use a Penn Slammer IV 6500 and a Spinfisher5000, which work great with the rod. Iโve used it for trolling as well. Surprisingly, it worked great! Fought with a 30 pound tuna with no problem. Iโve used in lakes and the pacific ocean. Works great in both. It is strong, sturdy and practical. For the price, you canโt beat it! Amazing quality for the price. I will be using Fiblink products only!

Cheap, price, sturdy
I work offshore in the Gulf of Mexico and have put the rod through testing. Caught sharks up to 60 lb, 20 lb amberjack, tunas etc... Pros: fits in my bag, jigging/heavy lure capable, guides havent popped out yet, decent backbone for jigs to 6ish ounces Cons: Reel seat loosens easily, sections dont fit well, looks a bit cheap, chinese made Overall for what i use it for, price, and compared to other similar items on the market I'd say this is a buy at the price and just keep replacing when the guides disintegrate.
